In 1981, the Ahmadi family opened their first gas station in Northern California. Through hard work, determination, and a passion for service, the business steadily grew into a network of locations across California.
In 1995, Gawfco Enterprises, Inc. and its partnership company, Petromart Retail Group, were formally incorporated. In 1999, California Fuel Supply was launched as a fuel distribution company based in Lafayette, CA. This allowed the company to supply major fuel brands such as 76, Shell, Valero, Marathon, Gulf, Mobil, Sunoco, Chevron, and Exxon to both its own sites and independent stations across California, Arizona, and Nevada. Over time, it has grown into one of the leading fuel distributors on the West Coast, helping retailers improve performance and maintain brand flexibility.
In 2022, Gawfco took another bold step forward by launching its own convenience store brand, Fast Fill Market. Designed to offer a modern, customer-friendly experience, Fast Fill Market combines a curated selection of quick-grab food, beverages, and snacks with clean, well-organized store layouts. This new brand strengthens Gawfco’s presence at the pump and reinforces their commitment to enhancing the full-service experience for motorists across California.
